This week is March Break, and well spring is almost here. I feel the seasons changing. I thought it might be fun to have the kids help me prepare the meal plan this week. I also thought that for the past few meal plans, there has been alot of stuff that the kids have not liked, by last Friday I had to make a change, they were just not happy with the foods that I picked for us to eat. We had tacos and they liked it. So this week is going to be a fun week!
Lunch: leftover pizza and the older kids were at friends houses and had KD!
Dinner: Sweet and spicy glazed salmon, broccoli, swiss chard and sweet potatoes, for dessert a chocolate fondue with fruit!
Lunch: Pasta with peas
Dinner: Chicken Fajitas, seven layer dip, carrot cake
Lunch: Grilled cheese sandwiches
Dinner: Lasagna – I am going to go with my go-to recipe, I love it, and the kids do too!
Lunch: green eggs and ham (well actually turkey)
Dinner: Irish Stew or Shepherd’s Pie and Irish Soda Bread and green beer of course! (update: we went with Jaime Oliver’s Steak, Guinness and Cheese Pie with some variations, post to follow)
Lunch: PBJ sandwiches – (maybe grilled cheese instead, as I have new griddle I would love to test out, or pancakes!)
Dinner: Birthday Party for J2 #3 (not sure of the menu – something for a crowd and kid friendly)
Dinner: crispy chicken, glazed carrots, and corn
