Meal Plan September 20-26

This week has been a bust so far. This is what happens when you don’t properly meal plan. What is a proper meal plan? It starts with just thinking about it, I should have spent just ten minutes this Sunday and we would have had a plan. Next is taking a look at what you have in the fridge, I didn’t really do that either. My final downfall for this week was not thinking about what I wanted to try. I rarely make the same recipe twice, unless it’s a real hit, so I have to spend some time finding something to make. Well I didn’t do that either. I don’t remember what distracted me, but this week has been all bad. But here’s a record of what we have had so far and what I have planned for the rest of the week.


Lunch: Leftovers from the weekend

Dinner: Roasted tomatoes with garlic and basil,Chicken Souvlaki, Grilled Vegetables (zuchinni, red pepper and red onion)


Lunch: PBJ

Dinner: Kids went to McDonald’s and we ate out the Leaf’s game!


Lunch: Grilled Cheese and left over pasta and meatballs

Dinner: Back to school BBQ


Lunch: Blueberry Pancakes

Dinner: Rice, chopped mediteranian salad, roasted beets and squash


Lunch: Pita Pizza

Dinner: Pasta!  Carbo Loading begins for the marathon


Lunch: More pasta carbo loading

Dinner: Pizza (the end of carbo loading)


Lunch: Race Day!!!! More gummies and gels on the road!

Dinner: Out for Dinner
